With over 20 years of experience, Germán Brito is a trusted legal advisor specializing in cross-border transactions between the United States and Mexico. As a Certified Foreign Legal Consultant (FLC) with the California Bar, he is authorized to provide legal counsel on Mexican law to clients in the U.S.—a distinction held by few.
Germán began his legal career at Baker McKenzie and went on to serve at leading international firms and institutions including Greenberg Traurig, J.P. Morgan, and Santamarina y Steta. He later founded Brito & Associates, a boutique law firm with offices in Mexico City and San Diego, offering legal solutions in M&A, corporate structuring, real estate, tax, and compliance.
He is also the founder of MexLawClinic.com, a bilingual platform empowering U.S.-based families and businesses with access to trustworthy legal representation in Mexico.
Germán holds an LL.M. from Duke University, a Law Degree from ITAM, and multiple certifications in international taxation, compliance, and business management. He speaks fluent English and Spanish, and is an active member of numerous bar associations on both sides of the border.
